Boxkite Launches Redevelopment of Planet Debate

Planet Debate is an enormous content-driven website aimed at high school debaters. Our task was to redesign the look and the content management system from the ground up. Since Planet Debate has nearly 30,000 users who have subscription-based access to 3,000 research files, 12,000 research links, and more than 80,000 evidence cards (quotations from books, magazines, etc.). We added in video and audio lectures, mailing list management, and a streamlined e-commerce system that handles file purchases and subscriptions. The front end has a new logo, a custom icon set to identify various content channels at a glance, and a tagging system that allows users to better search through the enormous quantity of content on the site.
