Website Launch: EcoFocus Film Fest

Come one, come all to the third installment of the most environmentally-focused film festival in the Southeast - the EcoFocus Film Fest!

Boxkite Media has united with earth-friendly EcoFocus Film Festival to create an interactive way for film-buffs to educate and familiarize themselves with the festival.  To accomplish this task, Boxkite designed a website for the EcoFocus Fest to cleanly and clearly distribute information, while also giving movie mavens the opportunity to view picture snippets associated with a film, read information about a film, and interact with a calendar in order to pinpoint the perfect day to view a film.

To achieve these goals, Boxkite installed a customized version of our content management system called the Spool.  The Spool allows the EcoFocus staff to manage all features of website through one environment.  Featured in this version of the Spool is our calendar module, which gives EcoFocus staff the ability to click on a specific date through the back-end and supply information for this date, film specifics, which allows EcoFocus to simply upload images and type film information for featured festival videos, and our blogging platform, which gives staff the opportunity to inform fest-goers about recent news, film spotlights, and any other news related to EcoFocus.  

The EcoFocus Film Festival is located in Athens, GA, and runs from September 24th through October 3rd.  We at Boxkite are extremely excited about attending the festival and we hope you can come out and support a good cause.
