Athens-Clarke County Stormwater Department

The Athens-Clarke County Stormwater Department needed a mapping system to track incidents of dumping and flooding, as well as stream quality data. They also needed an interactive way for people to learn about watersheds, runoff, water pollution. We built a system that allows citizens to report dumping and flooding directly on the map. We also built a media room, including audio and video podcasting, an events calendar, a news blog, photo galleries, and a very cool Turtle Girl (designed by Leslie Dallion).

The Greenwood Foundation's mission is to instill the community with a desire and the ability to make a positive and sustainable difference in the world. Their website provides news about local education, opportunities for public input, forums for community debate, and sponsorship information.

provides technical assistance for the planning and design of humanitarian projects. Their website highlights their current projects and communicates with their contributors about program decisions.

RiverWay South is designed to work with communities within the Apalachicola, Chattahoochee, and Flint watershed to preserve the environment while increasing the economic vitality of the region. The website features photo galleries, testimonials, and self-guided brochure, video, and audio tours from a variety of sources.
The main feature of the site is an interactive map of the river. Important locations along the river, including everything from historic buildings to parks to boat ramps, are identified. New locations are submitted by used and are added to the map when approved by RiverWay South.

Venice is Sinking is a band from Athens, Georgia. They needed a site with an ancient look that they could use to manage calendar events, news, fan mailings, and booking info. We chose to base the sites on hand drawn maps of Venice from the Middle Ages to create a meeting of the ancient and modern.
